I have a story called “Man Woman Egg Bird” over at Aaron Burch’s new venture Short Story, Long today. This is a story that grew out of my obsession with 1930s/40s romantic comedies (Capra, Lubitsch, Sturges) and, perhaps weirdly, the creatures of Ray Harryhausen.
